What are three unhealthy habits you'd like to break?

What are three healthy habits you'd like to establish?

What are three healthy habits that you already have?

  1. What are three unhealthy habits you'd like to break?

    1. Drinking half a pot of coffee a day. In the vague long term, I'd like to kick the caffeine habit entirely, but that's too heady to think about.
    2. "Procrastination" is too big and too persistent to think about breaking but... I would like to stop putting off writing Prayers of the People till Saturday night.
    3. Evading difficult conversations with my partner.

What are three healthy habits you'd like to establish?

    1. Walking daily.
    2. Eating three meals a day.
    2. Doing daily creative writing.

What are three healthy habits that you already have?

    1. A daily phone call with my best friend, which does wonders for my spiritual and mental health.
    2. Paperjournaling daily.
    3. Going to church weekly. :)

  2. Three unhealthy habits that I'd like to break -

1)At work control the impulse to eating unhealthy foods
2)Stop the negative self talk, be less anxious
3)Don't worry about the future of my disabled son.

Three healthy habits I would like to establish-

1)better mental health by writing again poetry and a journal.
2)work on flexibility of joints and muscles
    3)More time for prayer

Three healthy habits I already have -

    1)exercising

2)eatting healthier, natural suppliments for menapause

3)better now in balance of my time. I have learned to slow down in voluntering and say no to people because there are so many hours in a day. I felt like I needed to take better care of my self.Time is a challenge.

  3. 2)Stop the negative self talk, be less anxious

This would be on my list too if I could break it down into slightly manageable chunks; right now it's just too huge for me to overcome.

One tip/trick that sometimes works for me re: negative self talk is this: if there's a particular tic or phrase that I get stuck on/is constantly on repeat in my head, then I think of a way complete the thought with something positive. So if I'm constantly thinking, "I hate myself," I'll try to make the constant thought, "I hate myself, but God loves me."

Journaling is so good for my mental health. I recommend it!

I have learned to slow down in voluntering and say no to people because there are so many hours in a day.

That is an excellent and difficult healthy habit that I need to work on.

    *love!*

  4. Break:

Sweets, but maybe I'd be happy with only eating them occasionally, rather than every day.

Procrastination - A source of frustration and stress. And a considerable amount of clutter.

    Making excuses for not exercising.

(I'm not giving up coffee and tea, but I might cut down someday.)

    Establish:

    Walk regularly

    Bike regularly

    Eat healthier

    Have

Generally try to take things in stride and not get over anxious.

Appreciating friends and family for what they give, and spending time with them.

Not dwelling on the past, and always having a plan for the future.
